Seriously you have no idea what your talkin about here, they race Nascar (Neckcar) sanctioned events in thousands of small towns accross the US, from California to Maine....

firefighters were fire suits and climb ladders with heavy ass hoses and battle fires 5 times that heat for hours at a time

If it doesn't require any physical ability then anyone could do it including my mom. The cars aren't the athletes; the drivers are. Sure it takes a fast car to win but it also takes a talented ATHLETE behind the wheel.
